Florida Seals News Release

ORLANDO - The Orlando Seals re-activated defenseman Chris LiPuma and goaltender David Goverde on Monday and waived goaltender Eric Scanlan and defenseman Scott Gray.

LiPuma, who also serves as the team's assistant coach, returns to the Seals lineup after being suspended for two games to attend to a family emergency. Goverde, who is 28-12(1) with a 2.64 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage, missed the past two games after going on the two-day injured reserve list last week.

Scanlan, 25, of Queens, NY, was signed by the Seals last Thursday as an emergency goaltender when Goverde went on the IR. Scanlan did not play for Orlando in either Thursday or Friday's games. Gray, 20, of Huntville, Ala., was minus-two in two appearances for Orlando.
