Lions team up with SUBWAY Restaurants to 'Lion-Size' your sandwich

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club is pleased to team up with SUBWAY Restaurants this season to give fans an opportunity to ‘Lion-Size' their meals at SUBWAY locations throughout British Columbia.

For just $1.50 (6" sandwich) or $3.00 (footlong), Lions fans can double their meat on any SUBWAY sandwich and can make it a Fresh Value Meal for just an extra $2.49.

To launch the Lion-Size initiative, Lions offensive linemen Angus Reid, Sherko Haji-Rasouli and Jovan Olafioye along with Leo the Lion and members of the Felions Dance Team will be on-hand at a SUBWAY Surrey location this Thursday, October 14th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm to give away official Lions merchandise including jerseys, t-shirts, hats, hoodies and a pair of 2011 season tickets.

Beginning at 4:00 pm, the O-linemen will put their appetites to the test as they participate in a SUBWAY sandwich eating competition.
