
Lions Sign Import Defensive Back David Hyland

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import defensive back David Hyland has signed a practice roster contract with the team.
Hyland comes off a standout rookie season with the Arena Football League's Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz in which he notched a team-high eight interceptions to go along with 61 tackles.
The Georgia native attended Morehead State University and appeared in 44 games over four years ('05-'08) for the Eagles racking up 21 interceptions and 319 return yards as well as three TD's. He also set a Division I-AA record with 61 career pass knockdowns.
