(Vancouver) - On the heels of another productive evaluation season and the National Combine in Winnipeg in late March, the BC Lions' brass now embarks on Draft Day.

The Tuesday fun begins with the Global Draft at 8:00 am PT, featuring the top prospects from outside of Canada and the United States. The Lions hold the following selections:

Round 1, 6th overall

Round 2, 15th overall

The focus then shifts to the CFL Draft at 5:00 pm PT as the Lions will look to further upgrade their solid contingent of Canadian content at all positions.

"This is the deepest draft I've seen in 7-10 years," said Lions' director of Canadian scouting Rob Ralph.

"There are plenty of good football players, plenty of good athletes at multiple positions and a lot of good special teams players who are going to contribute for years to come. I'm really quite excited to see this year's crop."

The Lions hold eight selections in this year's Canadian Draft:

Round 1, 6th overall

Round 2, 15th overall

Round 2, 19th overall*

Round 3, 26th overall

Round 5, 44th overall

Round 6, 53rd overall

Round 7, 62nd overall

Round 8, 71st overall

*The 19th selection was rewarded to the Lions as a result of leading the CFL in National snaps in 2023.

** The Lions' fourth-round selection (35th overall) belongs to Ottawa as a result of the trade for Terry Williams in September 2022.

Fans can tune into TSN for coverage of the first two rounds, beginning at 5:00 pm. Rounds three through eight can be streamed on TSN+.
