B.C. Lions News Release
(Vancouver) After four days of rookie camp, Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono has made his first personnel decisions leading into main camp which begins on Sunday, June 6th in Kamloops. In order to get down to the CFL-mandated roster size of 68, the club released the following players:
- 20 ∙ Mike McEachern (non import) defensive back
- 96 ∙ Scott McCuaig (non import) defensive lineman
- 93 ∙ Abraham Wright (import) defensive lineman
- 50 ∙ Andy Schantz (import) linebacker
- 51 ∙ Geno Johnson (import) linebacker
- 40 ∙ Mickey Dean (import) running back
In other personnel moves, the club placed import receiver Dominic Bolden (knee) on the disabled list. The Lions' seven 2010 CFL Draft selections and two territorial protected players do not count towards the club's overall roster.
