B.C. Lions News Release
(Vancouver)- Coming off a gritty 24-12 win in the nation's capital followed by a bye week, the BC Lions are back home for a rematch with the Ottawa REDBLACKS on Saturday, September 11th at 7:00 pm presented by Pepsi.
Led by CFL Top Performer of the Month Michael Reilly and a stingy defence that has allowed only one touchdown in their last three contests, the 2-2 Lions have set themselves up for contention in what's shaping up to be another battle in the Wild West Division.
Join us as we pay tribute to the great frontline and health care workers who have played a big role in allowing us to return to the field in 2021. Fans are encouraged to get to their seats early and join us in a "7PM style salute" to honour all of those courageous frontline workers in attendance.
Pepsi has invited 500 medical professionals from Fraser and Coastal Health while we will say thank you to a total of 2,000 first responders and front-line workers on Saturday night.
Fans can tune into AM730 and the Lions Radio Network, starting with the pre-game show at 6:00 pm. Bob Marjanovich and Giulio Caravatta bring you all of the analysis including interviews with head coach Rick Campbell and select Lions players.
