
Lions Add International Duo to Offence

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club has announced the signing of international receiver Devonn Brown and running back J.C. Coleman this morning.
Brown joins the Lions following a two-year run at Lamar University where he dressed for 23 games with 15 starts recording 59 receptions for 906 yards and eight touchdowns. The speedster out of Long Beach, California also returned 26 kickoffs for 449 yards.
Coleman appeared in 46 games in his four seasons with Virginia Tech with 13 starts for the Hokies. The Norfolk native recorded eight career touchdowns on 348 attempts with 1,519 rushing yards averaging 4.4 yards per carry. JC was also the Military Bowl MVP in 2014.
Both Brown and Coleman will get their first taste of CFL action when first-year Lions hit the field in Kamloops on Thursday, May 26 for a three-day mini-camp ahead of 2016 Training Camp.
