
Lindberg and Hertzberg Commit to Generals

Oshawa Generals General Manager, Roger Hunt announced today that the club has signed CHL Import Drafts, Tobias Lindberg and Sonny Hertzberg.
The Generals selected Lindberg, a 6'3" right winger from Stockholm, Sweden with the first pick in the CHL Import Draft. Lindberg was a fourth round draft pick to Ottawa Senators in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and is currently attending the Senators training camp. The 18-year-old played with DjurgÃÂ¥rden J20 of the J20 SuperElit this year where he totalled put up seven goals and 15 assists for 22 points in 28 games.
The Generals selected Sonny Hertzberg with their second pick in the CHL Import Draft, a 6-foot, 187 pound, 19-year-old defender from Herning, Denmark. Accumulating 4 goals and 9 assists in 42 games playing with Frölunda HC J20 of the J20 SuperElit, look for Sonny as he will represent Denmark in this year's World Junior Hockey Championship in Toronto and Montreal this winter.
