Lincoln Stars (22-14-5) | 5th - Western Conference

The Stars are two points shy of a playoff spot heading into a stretch of four games in six days. Lincoln has gone 5-3-2 in its last 10 games, splitting last weekend with a loss against the Waterloo Black Hawks and win against the Omaha Lancers. The Stars top line of Brandon Schultz, Ethen Frank and Mike Gillespie combined for three of the Stars five goals last weekend.

Tri-City Storm (15-20-7) | 8th - Western Conference

The Storm seem out of the hunt for a return to the Clark Cup playoffs. Tri-City is in the conference cellar, sitting 14 points out of the playoff picture. The Storm will look to end a four-game losing streak tonight after dropping games to the Omaha Lancers and Sioux City Musketeers last weekend.

Players to Watch

TC: Linus Weissbach - The University of Wisconsin commit has five goals in his last five games.

LIN: Ethen Frank - The Western Michigan University commit is on a seven-game point streak. He has points in 15 of his last 16 games with 11 goals and nine assists in that stretch.

Roster Report - Henry Bowlby was injured for his sixth-consecutive game on Feb. 11.

NHL CSS - NHL Central Scouting released its Mid-Term Rankings in January. Cayden Primeau was ranked 4th among North American goalies and Josef Korenar was ranked 15th among North American goalies. Former Star Ryan Poehling was ranked 14th among North American skaters.

Five Nations Tournament - Christian Krygier (United States) and Eero Terî=A4vî=A4inen (Finland) recently represented their respective countries at the 2017 Five Nations Tournament. Krygier played in the U17 tournament from Feb. 8-12 in Brno, Czech Republic. Terî=A4vî=A4inen played in the U18 tournament at the same time in Sundsvall, Sweden.
