Lights FC Halts Sacramento's Perfect Home Record with a 1-1 Draw

Lights FC opened the score in the 17th minute of the match after Danny Trejo created a great play where his shot wasn't controlled by Republic FC's goalkeeper, the rebound was capitalized by Roberto Molina who scored his first goal of the 2022 USL Championship season.

Sacramento leveled the score in the 37th minute off of a corner kick rebound where Tomas Romero wasn't able to clear the ball. Dan Casey found the back of the net to tie the game at 1, which was the score at halftime.

After not having a draw in their first seven games of the season, this was Lights FC's second consecutive tie, increasing their season tally to 14 points in USL Championship's Western Conference.

SCORING SUMMARY:

1-0 Lights FC, Roberto Molina - 17th minute

1-1 Sacramento, Dan Casey - 37th minute
