
Lights FC Faces FC Tucson in the US Open Cup

The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup is the oldest cup competition for soccer in the United States and the country's oldest annual tournament for team sports.
Lights FC played their first game in this tournament since 2019. The Open Cup wasn't played in 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic.
Seven players on the Las Vegas roster were on the team's starting lineup for the first time this year: Chase Bromstedt, Nathan Sepulveda, Dylan Presto, Christopher Jaime, Alexander Romero, Bruce El-Mesmari, and Daron Iskenderian.
After its 3-2 defeat against FC Tucson, Lights FC will now focus in league play when as they'll host Colorado Springs this Saturday. Switchbacks FC is the only team with a perfect record in USL Championship.

This Saturday, Lights FC will team up with the UNLV Women's Soccer Team trying to break the all-time attendance record in a women's match in the state of Nevada.
Lights FC will host Colorado Springs at 2 p.m. and the UNLV Rebels will take on the University of Arizona at 4:30 p.m. Fans will have access to watch both matches with the purchase of a ticket. Tickets are available at LightsFC.com/Tickets
