Lights FC wrapped up the sixth season in franchise history by taking on San Diego Loyal SC at the Las Vegas Ballpark, as part of its two game series of "Soccer in Summerlin".

Las Vegas natives Azriel Gonzalez and Zander Romero featured in the team's starting lineup.

Goalkeeper Andre "El Gato" Zuluaga got his fifth start of the year and he registered three saves in the first half to leave the match scoreless at the halftime break.

San Diego opened the score in the 56th minute after stealing a ball at midfield and streaking towards Lights FC's box. A shot from Collin Martin was blocked by Zuluaga, but the ball fell in front of Tumi Moshobane who with the second chance buried the ball in the back of the net.

Loyal SC extended their lead courtesy of Adrien Perez in the 85th minute off of an individual play that left him face to face with Zuluaga and leave the final score 2-0.

Lights FC concluded the 2023 USL Championship regular season with 19 points product of 3 wins, 10 ties and 21 defeats.
