Tonight, the Lightning Girls and the Front Office will participate in the "Light The Night" Walk to raise awareness of blood cancers and funds for cures. The Lightning are walking in honor of former team owner Wayne Timpe. Registration is at 5:30pm at Riverview Ice House (324 N. Madison). Participants carry illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer. Funds raised support the Society's mission: cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The Lightning open their home schedule against the Gary Steelheads on November 21st. Season ticket packages are still available, starting as low as $63. For more information, call the Rockford Lightning front office at 815-874-4232 or by visit the team website.
