GARY, IN: The Gary Steelheads today announced the hiring of Adam Tatalovich as their Director of Player Development and Video Coordinator for the 2004-2005 season. Tatalovich is a 1996 graduate from Hobart High School.

Tatalovich brings a solid basketball resume to the Steelheads. Adam is a former assistant coach for Independence Community College in Kansas and served as the Indiana University Basketball Student Manager for the three seasons. He has also served as the Video Coordinator and Scout for the Gold Medal Yugoslavian National Team at the 2002 FIBA World Championships in Indianapolis.

"Adam brings a youthful exuberance to our coaching staff. He is willing to work hard and to get the job done. We will be using him to work players out on a one on one basis and to break down film for us during the season. We are glad to have him on board and can't wait for him to get started," stated Steelheads Head Coach Duane Ticknor.

"Coach Ticknor is giving me a great opportunity to learn first hand professional basketball. I believe I can bring a tremendous work ethic to the organization. My experiences in player development should be very beneficial to the success we hopefully have this upcoming season," stated Tatalovich.
