Lightning Girls Calendar Hits Street Friday

The Rockford Lightning girls have put together a calendar to help raise money for
charity and help promote the end of the Lightning's 20th anniversary season in the
Rockford community.
The official Rockford Lightning girls 2006-2007 calendar goes on sale Friday, March
3rd. The Lightning girls calendar will contain pictures of the girls in a variety
of outfits ranging from their game day uniforms and leather Harley outfits, to
bikinis and school girl outfits. Calendars will cost $10 with a portion of the
profits going to charity.
Only 1,000 calendars have been printed so make sure to stop on by the merchandise
stand at an upcoming Lightning home game, or make it out to one of the girls
appearances around town to get your copy before they run out. You can also contact

The captain of the Lightning girls was on WXRX Thursday morning with Stone and
Double T to give information on appearance times and dates along with where you can
go to pick up your copy today. Several appearances have been scheduled for Friday
night around town including:
- 8:30 pm at Oscar's Pub & Grill
- 10:00 pm at JD's Sportsbar
- 11:15 pm at Neighbor's Bar & Grill
- 12:30 pm at Shooter's North
The girls will also be at Kegal's Harley Davidson this weekend, and Don Carter's on Tuesday, March 7th following the Lightning's game against the Yakama Sun Kings at 7:05 pm. Other appearances will be scheduled throughout Rockford, Loves Park, Roscoe, and other surrounding areas until the end of March to help promote the calendar.
