Lightning, Dick's Sporting Goods Team Up for 'Louisville Lightning Day'

The Louisville Lightning have partnered with Dick's Sporting Goods for 'Louisville Lightning Day' on Saturday, October 16th to celebrate the upcoming 2010-2011 Louisville Lightning season. Fans can come out and meet Lightning players, Lightning Ladies Dance Team members and management, as well as receive a discount on their purchase at Dick's Sporting Goods.

The Lightning and Dick's Sporting Goods have teamed up to give fans an opportunity to meet their favorite players, as well as receive 15% off their purchase! Lightning players and management will be at the Dick's location in Louisville at Oxmoor Center on Saturday, October 16th from 10 AM - 2 PM. Lightning players and Lightning Ladies Dance Team members will be signing autographs and taking photos, and fans can also purchase season tickets and meet with Lightning management and staff.

In addition to getting up close and personal with Lightning players, fans will also receive 15% off their entire purchase, as well as a team packet filled with coupons for additional discounts on soccer equipment. It's a can't-miss deal for Lightning fans!

"This is a great opportunity for our players to get out in the community, and for fans to spend some time with their favorite players," said Lightning coach Ted Nichols. "Our players really love meeting the fans, and this is a great time for fans to come out and hang out with us a bit and pick up a great deal on some gear also."

The discount is good only at the Oxmoor Center location in Louisville on October 16, 2010 from 10 AM - 2 PM, and can also be combined with other discounts and coupons available in the team packet. The event is a great way for fans to stock up on gear from Dick's, while supporting the Louisville Lightning at the same time!
