New York Liberty President and General Manager Carol Blazejowski announced today that guard Kia Wright and forward Megan Darrah have signed Training Camp contracts. As per team policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
Wright, a 5-8 Copiague, NY native, recently completed her senior season at St. John's University, where she helped lead the Red Storm to the WNIT quarterfinals for the first time in the program's history. She played in 29 games with 24 starts, while averaging 12.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg and handing out a team-high 4.2 apg. Wright led St. John's in scoring eight times and rebounding six times this season.

With her 49 three-pointers on the year, she finished among the SEC's top 10 long range shooters. In her final game as a Bulldog last month, Darrah netted 14 points, an individual NCAA Tournament career high, against North Carolina in second round action.
