Monarchs Guard Scholanda Robinson Undergoes Successful Minor Surgery

SACRAMENTO, CALIF., April 16, 2008- The Sacramento Monarchs today announced that guard, Scholanda Robinson underwent a successful minor arthroscopic surgery to her right knee, due to normal wear and tear. Monarchs Team Doctor Kirk Lewis performed the surgery. A complete recovery is expected.

Robinson was originally selected by the Monarchs in the first round (14th overall) of the 2006 WNBA Draft. Through her two seasons and 67 games with the franchise she is averaging 5.5 points, 1.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 15.3 minutes per game.
