New York Liberty News Release
NEW YORK - The New York Liberty announced today that the team has re-signed guard Crystal Dangerfield to a rest-of-season contract.
A key contributor to the Liberty's resurgence in June, Dangerfield has recorded averages of five points, three rebounds, 2.8 assists and 24.2 minutes per game through her first 13 contests with the Liberty this season, 10 of which were starts.
"Crystal has had quite the journey this year and is more than deserving of a rest-of-season contract," said Liberty General Manager Jonathan Kolb. "On and off the court, she has fit seamlessly into the Liberty culture and we look forward to continuing to build together."
Crystal will be available for tonight's game against the Los Angeles Sparks at 6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
