Liberty gearing up for season

It's an exciting time in Liberty Land right now. We are anxious to get the 2006 season underway and to officially begin celebrating our 10th Anniversary here at The Garden with our fans. While we are just a few short weeks away from our first pre-season game here on May 13, there is plenty going on right now to get your fill of your favorite team in the meanwhile.

Right now, on wnba.com, you can show your New York pride by voting for the WNBA All-Decade Team. Four Garden favorites are on the ballot - and all need your vote! Log on now to vote for Becky Hammon, Vickie Johnson, Rebecca Lobo and Teresa Weatherspoon. Show the rest of the league that these Liberty greats really are the cream of the crop.

Premiering Monday, and repeating through the month of May, will be a brand-new television special on MSG Network entitled "Raising the Game." The show features Liberty legends Teresa Weatherspoon and Kym Hampton, as well as current players such as Cathrine Kraayeveld, Shameka Christon and Sherill Baker, looking back at the past nine years and looking forward to the year ahead.
