On Tuesday, the New York Liberty (4-8) defeated the Minnesota Lynx (3-9), 88-69, in the third and final game of their 2022 three-game season series.
At Barclays Center, the Liberty finished on 46.4% (32-69) shooting from the field, 36.4% (12-33) from three, and 80% (12-15) at the free throw line.
The Liberty's 28-point first quarter set a season-high in scoring for an opening quarter this season, and their 29-point third quarter set a season-high in scoring for any quarter in 2022.
Tonight, the Liberty knocked down a season-high 12 three-pointers en route to scoring a season-high 88 points.
New York's 19-point margin of victory also set a franchise record in their all-time head-to-head series against Minnesota.
Up Next: The New York Liberty will hit the road and head to the Hoosier State to take on the Indiana Fever on Friday, June 10 at 7 p.m. ET.

Q1: The Liberty went on a 10-2 run from the 9:02 mark of the first to the 7:06 mark of the quarter. They later ended the first on an 14-2 run from the 3:16 mark to end of the quarter.

Five Liberty players scored in double figures in tonight's game (Ionescu, Han, Allen, Howard, Whitcomb).
With her game-high 26-point, eight-rebound, eight-assist performance, Sabrina Ionescu finished just two rebounds and assists shy of what would have been her second-career triple-double, also against the Lynx. Ionescu totaled game highs in scoring, rebounds, and assists, while tonight marked her fourth consecutive game with 20+ points; a career-first. She shot a near-perfect 90.9% (10-11) from the field, including a perfect 100% (4-4) from three and a perfect 100% (2-2) from the charity stripe.
Han Xu finished as New York's second-leading scorer with her sixth double-digit scoring game of the season. Tonight, she totaled 15 points on 50% (6-12) shooting from the field en route to setting a new career-high in scoring and added five rebounds
Rebecca Allen dropped 13 points on 44.4% (4-9) shooting from the floor, including 42.9% (3-7) from beyond the three-point arc. She also added six rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.
Natasha Howard added 11 points on 45.5% (5-11) shooting from the field, four rebounds, three assists, and three blocks against her former team.
Sami Whitcomb finished with 11 points and four rebounds, while knocking down her three-point attempts at a 33.3% (3-9) clip.
For Minnesota, Kayla McBride scored a team-high 13 points and added four rebounds.
