Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (18-17) play the finale of a three-game series against the fourth-place Toledo Mud Hens (16-18) at Fifth-Third Field... With a 5-1 win last night, the Pigs have tied their season-high with a three-game winning streak and have improved to 4-4 on this season-long, nine-game road trip... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have dropped two straight games after winning two in a row. Still, the streaking Hens are 8-6 since May 1 after starting with an 8-12 record in April... Following today's game, the Pigs return home for a seven-game homestand beginning Monday with Game 1 of a three-game set versus Syracuse.
RHP Jake Thompson (1-4, 4.06) will start for LHV against LHP Matt Boyd (1-2, 1.80).
First-Pitch is at 2:05 p.m.
