
LHP Marlon Arias Named SAL All-Star

Columbus, GA - Catfish starting pitcher LHP Marlon Arias has been named to the South Atlantic League Southern Division All-Star team to replace RHP Chris Vines of the Rome Braves. Arias has a record of 6-3 with a 4.46 ERA and 77 strikeouts in 68 2/3 innings. Amongst league leaders he is tied for fourth in wins and ranks fourth in strikeouts.
The SAL All-Star roster now has five Catfish, including manager Travis Barbary, OF Drew Locke, IF Russ Mitchell and RHP Cory Wade.
The 47th Annual South Atlantic League All-Star Game will be played on Tuesday, June 20 at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio.
Monday the Catfish won game one of a four-game series in Savannah. After playing the Sand Gnats Columbus will travel to Rome for three games with the Braves.
