LHP Corbin Clouse to Triple-A Gwinnett, LHP Justin Kelly to Mississippi

JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Atlanta Braves have made a pair of roster moves affecting the M-Braves roster before tonight's game in Jacksonville. LHP Corbin Clouse has been promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett and LHP Justin Kelly has been promoted to Mississippi from High-A Florida.

Clouse, 23, appeared in a team-most 38 games this season posting a 1.84 ERA (10 ER/49.0 IP) and a 5-2 record with 65 strikeouts and just 21 walks. The Grand Ledge, MI native allowed just one run over his last 11 games and 14.2 innings - two runs over last 25.0 innings and 21 outings - just three runs over last 33.0 innings and 27 outings. Clouse ranks second among Southern League relievers with an 11.94 SO/9IP ratio.

Clouse was Atlanta's 27th round selection in 2016 out of Davenport University (MI).

Kelly, 25, was 3-2 with a 3.05 ERA (15 ER/44.1 IP) in 29 relief appearances, 30 walks, and 51 strikeouts this season for the Florida Fire Frogs in his first season with the Atlanta Braves. The Bakersfield, CA native was acquired by the Braves from the Los Angeles Angels in exchange for RHP Jim Johnson and international pool space on Nov. 30, 2017. Kelly pitched at five levels of the Angels' system last season, compiling a 5-4 record with a 3.53 ERA (25 ER/63.2 IP) in 25 games, six starts.

Kelly made his professional debut in 2016 after the Angels selected him out of UC Santa Barbara in the 33rd round of the draft that season.

The Mississippi Braves roster currently stands at 24 active players and four on the disabled list.
