JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a pair of transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp roster prior to tonight's game against the Mississippi Braves at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville at 6:35 p.m.

Outfielder Braxton Lee has been transferred on a transfer of option from Jacksonville to Triple-A New Orleans. Lee played in 29 games for the Jumbo Shrimp, hitting .218 with a home run and seven runs batted in. Lee played previously this season with the Baby Cakes, hitting .202 with no home runs and six runs batted in, and he is a member of the Marlins 40-man roster.

In a corresponding move, outfielder Anfernee Seymour has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Seymour with the Hammerheads played in 51 games, hitting .284 with three home runs and 24 RBI. Seymour played for the Jumbo Shrimp earlier this season in June, seeing action in seven games where he was 0-for-8 at the plate with a pair of walks.

The Jumbo Shrimp roster stands at 25 active players, and a revised roster is attached.

The Jumbo Shrimp continue their series with Mississippi at 6:35 p.m. Saturday, when Jacksonville right-hander Cody Poteet (2-9) is scheduled to face Braves left-hander Kyle Muller (1-0). Gates open at 5:30 p.m., when the first 2,000 kids receive a free Baptist Health and Wolfson Children's Hospital Youth Backpack, and Wolfson Children's Hospital Health Care Superheroes Night that will honor superheroes in the health care field. For Family Faith Night, Christian musical artist Rhett Walker Band will perform a postgame concert on top of the first-base dugout.
