
Lexington SC Hopes to Continue Home Momentum with Rematch against Richmond Kickers

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Lexington Sporting Club will conclude a two-match home stint, looking to build off the momentum of the club's 3-0 victory over Union Omaha last weekend with a rematch against the Richmond Kickers. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. EST.
Lexington SC (4-9-5, 17 points) is coming off the largest win in club history in the aforementioned 3-0 effort against Union Omaha. The result snapped a four-match losing streak and saw the club remain 10th in the league standings.
The Richmond Kickers (6-6-7, 25 points) are coming off a 3-1 loss to Northern Colorado Hailstorm which extended a three-match winless streak that has seen the club drop two of its last three. Richmond is currently 7th in the league standings.

GAME NOTES
Lexington SC has faced off against Richmond Kickers once already this season, coming up short 2-1 in Virginia on May 20. Don Smart scored the lone goal on a penalty kick.
Lexington SC goalkeeper Austin Causey began his professional career with
Richmond Kickers in April 2021, starting in 23 games including a playoff quarter final match.
Lexington SC currently has two stars tied as club-leading scorers. Both Nico Brown and Ates Diouf have recorded six goals each, making up 52% of the club's entire goal total.
Emiliano Terzaghi is the man to watch for the Richmond Kickers. A two-time USL League One Team of the Week member and the Week 13 Player of the Week, Terzaghi leads the Kickers with a staggering nine (9) goals on the season. Making up 39% of the club's goal scoring by himself, Terzaghi will be a key piece of the Kickers' offense and stopping him will be pivotal for a Lexington SC victory.
