Port Huron, MI - Chris Leveille netted the game winner and the insurance marker against Danbury and Port Huron wins their 2nd game in as many nights against the Titans, 4-2.

Jarrett Rush would score the first goal of the game 3 quarters through the first period. Danbury would take back to back penalties that gave the Prowlers a 1:57 on a 5 on 3. The Prowlers wouldn't be able to cash in. Matt Cooper would make 21 saves in the 1st period alone, and he solidified a 1-0 lead for Danbury going into the dressing room after the first frame.

Trevor Karasiewicz and company have owned the 2nd period this season against the opposition. The Prowlers have outscored teams 60-21 throughout the season and have outscored teams 21-3 in their last 7 games in the 2nd period. Brian Soskin would start the 2nd period trend on the power play as he knotted the game at 1, on Port Huron's 26th shot of the night. Two more goals scored by Jay Kinney and Chris Leveille consecutively would have the Prowlers up 3-1 going into the third period.

Danbury made things interesting in final frame. John Scorcia would cut the Prowler lead in half coming from the stick of Brett Liscomb, with 15 minutes left to go in 3rd. Fortunately for the Prowlers Andy Di'Christofaro didn't let anymore pucks past him and with Chris Leveille adding an insurance marker, Port Huron would be up two goals with just under 3 minutes left to play in the game solidifying DiChristofaro's 15th win of the season. Matt Cooper made 41 saves on 45 Prowler attempts at the net, but it wasn't enough for Danbury as Port Huron records their third win in regulation against Danbury 4-2.

Both teams will hit the freeway tomorrow night as the Titans will have to make a stop in Brewster to play the Bulldogs, Port Huron will head down to Dayton, Ohio to face off against the Demolition who are one of two teams who haven't beaten the Prowlers yet this season. Puck drops for both games at 7:30 watch and listen to the live broadcasts at federalhockey.com.
