
Lennie Johnson Returns to Twisters

The Arkansas Twisters have been assigned the first group of position players for the new year. Headlining this group is four-time team MVP Lennie Johnson. The Arkansas State alum has been assigned to the team and returns for his fifth season with the Twisters. Johnson holds several team records including scoring, all-purpose yards, interceptions, unassisted tackles, and fumble recoveries. He's played in more games than any other player in team history, and his accomplishments have him ranked among the greatest of all-time in af2 history.
Johnson is one of six players assigned to the Twisters by the league. Returning to the Twisters is Prince Williams, Ricardo Garcia, and Lareko Elliott. Two newcomers will also be in camp, William Farmer and Tony Nelson.
Prince Williams enters his second season with the Twisters. He played college football for UAPB, and Williams provided plenty of excitement in his first year with Arkansas. Not even mentioned in last years media guide, Williams first catch of his professional career was a 48 yard touchdown pass. He finished last season fourth on the team in with 337 receiving yards.
Ricardo Garcia and Lareko Elliot both return after seeing limited action last season. Garcia played in one game, recording four tackles, one for a loss. Elliott played in three games, recording one tackle.
Farmer and Nelson are both newcomers to the Twisters. Farmer is listed at 6' 2'', 181lbs. from Arkansas Tech. Nelson is 5' 11'' and 184lbs. He played college football at Langston University.
Player report for physicals March 16, and practice starts the next day.
