Blizzard announce 2004 schedule

Green Bay, WI – The Green Bay Blizzard would like to announce their schedule for the 2004 season.

The Blizzard will be entering its second season in the af2 in 2004 and first for Head Coach Brian Noble. The Blizzard will play a 16 game schedule with 2 bye weeks, 8 at home and 8 away. A total of 25 teams will play in the af2 during the 2004 season, with 4 new franchises in Laredo, Texas, Rio Grande, Texas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Bakersfield, California. The franchise in Mohegan, New Hampshire will take to the field in Manchester, New Hampshire and Bakersfield has moved its franchise to Fresno, California for 2004.

Coach Noble and the Blizzard will open their schedule on the road in San Diego on Friday, April 9th and return to Green Bay the following week, April 16th, for Coach Noble's home debut at the Resch Center versus the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers.

Other highlights in the 2004 schedule will be May 1st when the 2003 Midwest Division Champs come to Green Bay, the Quad City Steamwheelers and Friday May 22nd, when divisional rivals Louisville Fire head to town. The Blizzard end their second season with 2 pivotal divisional road games in Louisville, Kentucky and Peoria, Illinois.

Season Tickets

Season tickets are available by calling the Blizzard office at (920) 405-1264. Season tickets start at $56 for all eight (8) home games. The Blizzard is entering its second season in af2 play starting in April.
