Legends Win Third Straight in Front of Rambunctious Crowd

Frisco, TX - Empowered by a record setting 5,731 fans at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco, the Texas Legends ran away with the 109-93 win over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

For the second game in a row Antonio Daniels provided a double-double, tonight with a season high 13 assists. Anthony Vereen was virtually unstoppable in the paint scoring a team high 18 points while grabbing seven boards.

The Legends evenly distributed the points as seven players scored in double-figures. Texas was also dominated the glass as they outrebounded the Mad Ants 45-36.

Fort Wayne was led by Ron Howard who directed an excellent game with 29 points and eight assists.

For the fourth time this season the Legends shot better than fifty percent, tonight connecting on 52.5% from the field, improving their record to 4-1 when they hit the illustrious mark.

Texas (16-18) now jumps on a bus to Rio Grande Valley (20-14) for a match-up with the Vipers Sunday at 5:00PM.
