Frisco, TX, (March 5, 2013) -The Texas Legends (17-21), presented by Veracruz (visit Veracruz.mx), fought to make it a close game but fell behind to the first-place Bakersfield Jam (25-11) 108-117.

The Legends got caught up early, ending the first quarter down by ten. However, they used the second quarter to make a powerful comeback (31-19) and take the lead going into halftime 54-52. In the third quarter, the Legends were unable to control Bakersfield's shooting, allowing 39 points. It was this deficit that proved to be too much for the Legends.

Justin Dentmon led the Legends with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists, followed closely by Christian Eyenga with 24 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist.

Bakersfield was powered on by Mike Scott with the game's only double-double 22 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists.

The Legends will remain on the road, traveling to Los Angeles tomorrow to take on the D-Fenders at 9pm CT. Legends fans can catch the action live on the D-League's Youtube channel.
