
Legends Caravan to Visit Danville February 29

The Lexington Legends pre-season caravan will come to Danville Monday, February 29.
Caravan events, which are scheduled throughout the region, allow the Legends to show appreciation to fans and media and to promote the 2016 season.
In Danville, Legends' representatives, including Big L, will be at Mallard's restaurant, 1001 Ben Ali Drive #3, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, February 29. Z-105 WRNZ-FM will broadcast live reports.
Fans are invited to stop by and register for a chance to win tickets and other items, or get a picture taken with Big L.
The Legends, a member of the South Atlantic League and a class A affiliate of the World Series champion Kansas City Royals, will open the season at home Thursday night, April 7 against the Lakewood BlueClaws, an affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
The Legends will also serve as host for the 2016 South Atlantic League All-Star game Tuesday, June 21.
