Hickory, NC - Inclement weather in the High Country has forced the Appalachian State baseball team to alter its weekend baseball schedule, with the Mountaineers now scheduled to play visiting Quinnipiac in a doubleheader at L.P. Frans Stadium on Saturday, February 27th.
Game one of the twin bill will be a 7-inning contest beginning at noon, while a 9-inning game two will follow immediately after. A $5 ticket will allow fans to watch both games, with all App. St. students receiving free admission. Concession stands will be open, providing both food and Pepsi products.
Tickets are on sale now at the Hickory Crawdads front office, or by calling (828) 322-3000.
The remainder of the Mountaineers weekend schedule will be played at Appalachian State's Beaver Field at Jim & Bettie Smith Stadium on Sunday. More information regarding those games can be found at appstatesports.com.
