Legends Announce Sports Academy Foundation Night

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends are hosting a night to celebrate the outreach initiatives of one of their partners. This Wednesday, Feb. 9th, the Legends will suit up in custom jerseys co-branded with Sports Academy and the Sports Academy Foundation logos and colorway.
Sports Academy at The Star is the official practice facility of the Legends. More than 50,000 square feet in total, the facility contains industry-leading sports performance amenities. Sports Academy is a full-service facility designed to improve overall human performance for athletes from youth leagues to professional and Olympic sports, and beyond.
The Sports Academy Foundation is the non-profit arm by which Sports Academy and its staff give back to their communities. The Foundation focuses on creating positive impact through the mechanism of sport, expanding the scope of access and developing programming that enhances personal and professional traits in athletes of all ages and skill level.
"Sports Academy's impact on this community was noticeable immediately," said Legends President Malcolm Farmer. "They not only fill the building daily with people learning, growing, and getting better, but they take it beyond their facilities into the community. Providing resources, knowledge, and access to technology that some of our neighbors wouldn't have otherwise. We are excited to celebrate them and build awareness on all the hard work they are doing off the courts and fields."
