
Legends Announce Second Tryout Date

FRISCO, Texas, (Sep. 3, 2013) - The Texas Legends have announced a second open tryout date for prospective players. The September local tryout has been filled and all participants will now be registering for October 19-20. The tryouts will be formatted across two days with first cuts being made at the end of day one.
Local tryouts offer participants the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Legends coaches and front office staff, including President of Operations Spud Webb, General Manager Del Harris, and Assistant General Manager Nancy Lieberman. The number of participants will be limited and all must meet NBA Development League eligibility requirements. Players from each tryout will be competing for an invitation to Legends' training camp in November.
All interested players are asked to complete an application and mail or fax it to the team's office along with a non-refundable $100 participation fee. Participants who register on the day of will be charged $150, and day-of payments must be made in the form of money order, cashier's check or cash.
