
Legends Announce 2015-16 Season Schedule

FRISCO, TX, (Sep. 10, 2015) - The Texas Legends will open the 2015-16 NBA Development League season with a two-game conference road trip prior to their home opener, traveling to Austin Nov. 13th and Oklahoma City Nov. 15th. The team will host their home opener Nov. 20th against Austin and finish out the month with Oklahoma City in town Nov. 21st and 28th. In a 24-game home schedule, the Legends will host 18 weekend dates, eight on Fridays and 10 on Saturdays.
The Legends have a schedule of 50 games throughout the 2015-16 season hosting 24 at home, hitting the road for 24 and playing two additional games at the NBA Development League Showcase in January (to be released at a later date). The League has added one new team-the Toronto Raptors affiliate, the Raptors 905. The League now has 19 teams and has realigned the Eastern Conference, with the Divisions as follows:
Eastern Conference:
Atlantic Division-Maine, Westchester, Delaware, Erie, Raptors
Central Division-Fort Wayne, Grand Rapids, Sioux Falls, Iowa, Canton
Western Conference:
Southwest Division-Oklahoma City, Texas, Rio Grande Valley, Austin
West Division-Bakersfield, Idaho, Reno, Santa Cruz, Los Angeles
The schedule breaks down as follows with the Legends playing five games in the Eastern Conference and 43 in the Western Conference.

The Legends' longest home stretch is 6 games February 3, 5, 6, 10, 19 and 20 hosting Iowa (3rd), Raptors (5th), Austin (6th, 10th) and Bakersfield (19th, 20th). The team will have three five-game road trips January 23, 24, 26, 27 and 30, February 26, 27, March 2, 4 and 5, and March 17, 19, 20, 24, and 25.
The Legends will play 16 back-to-back series, eight with the same opponent both nights and eight being homestands.
