Erie, Pennsylvania, Thursday, September 10, 2015 - The NBA Development League has released the schedule for the 2015-16 season. The schedule contains several early road trips for the BayHawks, including opening night at the Westchester Knicks on November 14. The BayHawks put on their first home games the following weekend, November 21-22, against the Delaware 87ers and Sioux Falls SkyForce. The game against the Delaware 87ers will be the first divisional play.
The BayHawks play the Raptors 905, the newest addition to the NBA D League, on January 21 at Erie Insurance Arena. The Raptors join the BayHawks in the Atlantic Division along with the Maine Red Claws, Westchester Knicks, and the Delaware 87ers. The Canton Charge, a member of the Atlantic Division during the '14-'15 season, have been moved to the Central Division to give way to the Raptors 905. Erie will play each team in the division six times (three home games and three away games). The Atlantic Division sits in the Eastern Conference with the Central Division. Conference games make up 44 of the BayHawks' 48 games announced today. Two additional regular season games will be played at the annual NBA D-League Showcase in Santa Cruz, CA in January. Those games will be announced at a later date.
Of Erie's 24 home games, 14 will fall on a weekend date. All home games will tipoff at 7 pm unless otherwise noted. There will be five instances of back-to-back Friday/Saturday games. Several noteworthy promotions will take place at home including: Star Wars Night (December 12), Martin Luther King Jr. Game (January 18 at 2 pm), Orlando Magic Affiliate Night (January 29), School Kids Jam (February 3 at 11 am), Salute Our Troops Night (February 28), and Celebrate Your Faith Night (March 5). A full schedule of promotions will be announced at a later date.

This marks the team's second season as the NBA Development League affiliate of the Orlando Magic. It will be Coach Bill Peterson's second season with the BayHawks, as well.
