SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The NBA D-League announced today that the Santa Cruz Warriors, the 2015 NBA D-League Champions, will begin the 2015-16 season on Friday, November 13 when the team plays host to the Bakersfield Jam at Kaiser Permanente Arena. After opening night, the Warriors travel to Los Angeles where they will face the D-Fenders the next day in the first of fifteen back-to-back sets this season.

Coming off the first Championship in franchise history after making a third straight trip to the NBA D-League Finals, the Warriors are slated to face West Division rivals 24 times during the 2015-16 campaign. The season's first eleven games come against Western Conference teams, including rematches versus all three 2014-15 Western Conference Playoff foes (vs. Bakersfield on November 13 and 24; vs. Austin on November 27 and 28; and at Oklahoma City on December 12).

Santa Cruz will host the NBA D-League Showcase presented by Samsung at Kaiser Permanente Arena for the second consecutive season. The 19-game Showcase will run over five days, from Jan. 6-10, 2016, and feature the league's 19 teams playing two regular-season games apiece.

The team's longest stint at Kaiser Permanente Arena, a five-game homestand, starts on March 12 against Los Angeles and concludes with a March 24 contest against Idaho. Santa Cruz plays its final regular season home game on Wednesday, March 30 against the Reno Bighorns then travels to Idaho for a back-to-back regular season finale against the Stampede on Friday, April 1 and 2.

The 2014-15 schedule features 15 sets of back-to-back games, with six at home at Kaiser Permanente Arena. The tip-off for the majority of Santa Cruz's home games is 7:00 p.m., with the exception of two Sunday contests at 6:00 p.m. All regular season games will be broadcast on the Santa Cruz Warriors flagship station, KION 1460AM/101.1FM, or stream it on the NBA D-League's YouTube channel, by going to www.santacruzbasketball.com at tip-off.
