The third session begins Jan. 7 and meets the following three weeks on Jan. 14, Jan. 21 and Jan. 28. Those signing up for two sessions get a discount and pay $75.
The Learn To Skate program is a beginning ice skating program that serves the needs of recreational and competitive skaters interested in figure skating, hockey or recreational skating. The curriculum is designed to teach forward and backward turns and stops, as well as more challenging skating moves.
Each skater receives a 30-minute group lesson followed by 30 minutes of supervised practice time. The Event Center provides skates for its Learn to Skate program.
