Waterloo Black Hawks News Release

Waterloo, Iowa-One of the uniforms worn by the Waterloo Black Hawks last weekend and auctioned after Saturday's game to benefit Beyond Pink TEAM and local breast cancer patients is lost and presumed stolen from Young Arena.

The team is asking for assistance from fans and local residents. The specific missing jersey belonged to forward Pijus Rulevicius and has his last name in white letters on the back, above a large, pink #13. The mostly black breast cancer awareness jerseys had a large, pink Black Hawks logo on the chest.

The uniform disappeared from the rink sometime between Saturday's postgame auction and Monday morning when the sweaters were laundered. If the jersey is returned to the Black Hawks so that it can be provided to the winning bidder, no questions will be asked. If you have any information which might be of assistance, please contact the Black Hawks at (319) 232-3444.
