Saint John Sea Dogs News Release
BOUCHERVILLE, QC - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has issued the final ruling in the case of the Ryan Tesink trade between the Saint John Sea Dogs and Blainville-Boisbriand Armada.
The QMJHL will award the Armada a compensatory, conditional first-round selection in the 2014 QMJHL Entry Draft, dependent on Tesink's status with the Armada for the 2013-14 season.
"The Sea Dogs are satisfied with the league's decision," says Wayne Long, President of the Sea Dogs. "We are now looking forward to putting this behind us and focusing on next week's draft."
The Sea Dogs will not comment further on the matter.
Training camp gets underway in August when the latest crop of Dogs will get their chance to crack the roster for the 2013-14 season.
