
LB Mohring Set to Return to Barnstormers

DES MOINES, IA - Iowa Barnstormers Head Coach and Director of Football Operations Mike Hohensee, is pleased to announce that LB John Mohring has been assigned to the club for the 2013 season. He becomes the 26th player assigned to the Iowa roster for the upcoming season.
Mohring, (6-0, 240) will be returning to the Barnstormers for a second season in 2013. Last season in 12 games with Iowa, Mohring finished fourth on the team with 45 tackles along with 2 interceptions. He has also spent time with Montreal of the CFL and Orlando and Grand Rapids of the AFL. Mohring played college football at Georgia Southern where he was named to the 1-AA coaches All-American Team in 2006.
