BOCA RATON, FL.- In a wet and slippery game tonight, the Launch faltered to the New York Lizards at the very end of the game to give the visitors the win. The Launch led early and at the half, but the second half saw a re-energized Lizards team make a comeback.

QUOTES OF THE GAME
KIERAN MCARDLE - (on the Lizards) "they're just a resilient team. Everytime we came out on a run, they made a run also. So we had them in that first quarter, they came back, and it happened three or four times. You've got stop their runs. They stopped ours."
(on new teammates helping out) "It's great. Fresh legs coming in, younger guys. They're hungry to get out there, hungry to play. I think they fit in with our unit."
(on the scoring stall in the second half) "I think in the first half we were moving real well. But, we got a little stagnant in the third and fourth quarter."
COACH MARIANO - (on the rivalry) "I feel like this New York/Florida game, it's always a one-goal, close game. They had opportunities, they capitalized. We had our opportunities, we capitalized. We just needed to make one or two more plays."
(on the new players contributing tonight) "I thought they were excellent. I thought they had good talk, good communication. They really brought some energy, and made some big plays for us down the stretch."
JULES HENINGBURG - (on his first professional game) "It feels good. It's awesome to get out here and finally start playing [...] it felt good to get out here and get my feet wet."
