
Dallas Rattlers Ready to Battle Blaze in Home Return

FRISCO, Texas - The Dallas Rattlers are ready to take on the Atlanta Blaze tonight in the second home game of the season at Ford Center. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. CT. Please note: Media entrance will be the standard Ford Center media entrance on the east side of the building.
The Rattlers have dedicated the game as Cancer Awareness night in honor of Major League Lacrosse's Real Men Wear Pink initiative supporting American Cancer Society, Before the game at 5:15 p.m., the Rattlers will sign Luke Allred, a local 11-year-old boy who is battling Leukemia, to an honorary one-day contract.
The home team (3-2) look to rebound after last weekend's road loss to the Ohio Machine. Tonight's meeting with the Blaze (3-1) is the first meeting of the two teams this season.
Dallas will potentially have several new faces joining the mix with Zack Greer, Randy Staats, Jesse King, Jordan MacIntosh and Joel White all being activated to the 25-man roster this week. Also back in the mix tonight is defenseman John LoCascio who is slated to return from a two-week injured reserve stint. Leading attackman Jordan Wolf (15 goals in five games) left the last game with an injury but is set to play.
As for the opposition, the Blaze have one of the most potent offenses in the league with a .677 shots on goal percentage. Atlanta is led by attackman Kevin Rice (23 points) and midfielder Deemer Class (18 points).
