Rattlers Beat BayHawks to Extend Streak to Six

Annapolis, MD - The Dallas Rattlers defeated the Chesapeake Bayhawks 14-13 Sunday night to extend the team's winning streak to six games.
The Rattlers began the season 0-7 and are now surging down the stretch with six consecutive wins. During the current winning streak, the Rattlers have defeated each MLL franchise once and defeated three first-place teams.
The Bayhawks entered the matchup as the top-ranked team in the MLL standings after the Rattlers defeated the previous top team, the Boston Cannons, the night before.
The Rattlers were led on offense by Ryan McNamara with five points including two two-point goals. Luke Wittenberg, Jack Curran, and Bryce Wasserman each contributed three points.
On defense, rookie goalie Sean Sconone anchored the team with eleven saves. The UMass product is the league-leader in save percentage with 55.56.
Next up for the Rattlers is a home tilt with the New York Lizards on Saturday, August 31 at 7 p.m. CDT. The game's theme is Play Lacrosse Day.
