Rattlers Lose to Lizards at Home, Snap Six-Game Winning Streak

Frisco, TX - The Dallas Rattlers lost to the New York Lizards at Ford Center at The Star Saturday night by a score of 12-11.
The loss marked the Rattlers first defeat in nearly seven weeks as the team went on a six-game winning streak after losing to the Chesapeake Bayhawks on July 14.
The Rattlers were led by attackman Jack Curran with four goals and one assist. On defense, Chris Keating scooped up six ground balls. In net, Sean Sconone saved 12 of 24 shots on goal. Faceoff specialist Noah Rak went 11 for 25 at the X.
Despite the loss, the Rattlers remain in playoff contention. Next up, the Rattlers face an important home matchup with the Atlanta Blaze on September 7 at 7 p.m. The game is the team's final home game of the season and will serve as Fan Appreciation Night.
