Great Lakes Loons News Release
MIDLAND, Mich. - As many of you are now aware, last week Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer declared a State of Emergency for the state of Michigan in an effort to limit the development, contraction and spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). As part of this declaration, the state of Michigan has prohibited mass gatherings of 50 people through Sunday, April 5. The Great Lakes Loons fully support these measures in an effort to help keep our fans, staff and community safe and healthy.
As a result, all public and private events previously scheduled during this window have been cancelled. In addition, the front office for the Loons, ESPN 100.9-FM, MBF and Dow Diamond will be closed to the general public during this timeframe and our staff will conducting business electronically and by phone.
The Loons are staying up to date with all direction from local and state agencies and organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our partners at Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball.

The Great Lakes Loons have been the Single-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers since the team's inception in 2007.
