Last year the Thunder we fortunate to have former Major League star and current Yankee Instructor Frank Howard give a very entertaining speech at the annual Welcome North Dinner. Who will be the Special Suprise Yankee Guest Speaker at this year's dinner on April 7 at Angeloni's Cedar Gardens in Hamilton? In addition to seeing a great Yankee guest speaker, the Welcome North Dinner is your chance to be one of the first people to meet the 2004 Thunder and welcome the new team to Trenton. The dinner is also your first opportunity to get autographs and photographs. Doors open at 6:00 and dinner will be served at 6:30. The price for the dinner is $21 for adults and $19 for children under age 12. Tables of ten are also available. To make your reservation please call 609-394-3300 ext 118.

THUNDER'S FIRST PRACTICE IN TRENTON WILL BE OPEN TO PUBLIC

The Thunder would like to invite you to watch the team's first Waterfront Park practice of the season on April 6 at 7:00. The gates to the ballpark will open at 6:00 pm. Refreshments will be available and there will be prize giveaways and a silent auction to benefit the Grand Slam We Care Foundation. See you there!

WWE TO INVADE WATERFRONT PARK FOR APRIL 23 GAME

World Wrestling Entertainment will be on center stage for the Thunder game against Reading (Philadelphia Phillies) on Friday, April 23. A WWE Superstar (To be announced later) will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans. There will also be great giveaway from the WWE (to be announced later). Tickets are available now by calling 609-394-3300 and online on the Trenton Thunder website.

VIETNAM VETS DAY ADDED TO SCHEDULE

The Thunder have added Vietnam Veterans Day to the promotional schedule for 2004. On Wednesday, May 12 the Thunder will recognize Vietnam Vets at the ballpark. If you are part of a Vietnam Veterans group and would like to be involved please call the Thunder group sales department at 609-394-3300 ext. 105.

NAME THAT FORMER THUNDER PLAYER

I played shortstop for the 2001 and 2002 Thunder. I set the Thunder record for the longest hitting streak in 2002 when I hit in 27 straight games. I made my MLB debut in 2002 with Boston and was traded to the Pirates last season.
