BROCKTON, MA (January 24, 2007) - Limited seating is still available for the fifth annual Hot Stove Banquet presented by Webster Bank to be held Friday, January 26th at 6 p.m. at The Shaw's Center at Campanelli Stadium. Jonathan Papelbon will join all-stars Bob Ryan of The Boston Globe, and former Red Sox radio broadcaster Jerry Trupiano, who will be the evening's emcee. "We rearranged our speaking rotation to enable Jonathan Papelbon to start," explained Rox GM Andy Crossley. "We know he is accustomed to closing, but as a courtesy to the Red Sox we thought we should help him get ready for the season by having him start the festivities."

All the guests will be available for autographs and to answer questions from the audience following during the event. However, Papelbon will only be available for autographs prior to the start of dinner from 6:30PM - 7:30PM. Due to time contraints each guest will be limited to 1 item to be autographed.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the VIP cocktail reception followed by dinner. The program will begin around 7:30 p.m. and feature an open question and answer session with the speakers. There will also be a silent auction and raffle, with proceeds going to Save Our Sports, which helps amateur and scholastic athletics in Brockton and the Foundation for Fighting Blindness.
