July 28, 2020 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Las Vegas Lights FC News Release
LAS VEGAS, NV - The Las Vegas Lights today announced a comprehensive relationship with Learfield IMG College Ticket Solutions that will support the USL Championship club's ticket sales, service, analytics, and fan engagement strategies through an on-site sales team and new business intelligence tools.
"We understand if we want to fully reach our goal to build a one-of-a-kind brand among fans in Las Vegas, we need to partner with the industry's best" said Las Vegas Lights Owner and CEO Brett Lashbrook. "We are thrilled to have Learfield IMG College Ticket Solutions join our team to further grow our club and to continue increasing attendance. They are first in class and I'm ecstatic they've agreed to work with us."
In a booming Las Vegas sports market, Ticket Solutions will work with the Lights to continue growing its fan base by having five on-site salespeople dedicated to building personal relationships with soccer fans, youth organizations, and business in and around Las Vegas. As part of this arrangement, the Lights also will be deploying a new customer relationship management tool, Salesforce, to be administered by Ticket Solutions' national data team.
"We're excited to work with the Lights FC and elevate their presence in the Las Vegas region in advance of the 2021 soccer season," said Learfield IMG College Ticket & Seat Solutions Executive Vice President Jake Bye. "While our company is the leader in the college space, our best practices and sales strategies transcend to the professional leagues as well, and we're honored for the opportunity to work with Brett and his team to develop relationships with Lights fans."
While fan attendance is currently on hold for the Lights in advance of their home opener on August 1, the new sales and service team is expected to launch later this year in preparation for the 2021 season.
Lights FC returns to Cashman Field this Saturday night (7:30pm kickoff; live on ESPN+) for its home opener against in-state rival Reno 1868 FC in the first leg of the annual Silver State Classic.
